Oilfield Innovations' patented Multi-Production-Injection-Crossover (MPIX) is a crossover production shroud with no moving parts that can be combined with proven off-the-shelf conventional technology to provide a step change in production optimisation.

Conventional dual bore wellheads and trees can be used to produce concentric flow streams contained within a conventional production annulus.

Dedicated conventional fail-safe flapper type surface controlled tubing retrievable sub-surface safety valves (SCTRSSSV) can control each pressure and/or fluid segregated flow stream.

The technology is suited to conventional tapered casing strings using conventional tie-back of an outer tubing string prior to installation of an inner tubing string to provide pressure and fluid segregated flow streams.

Conventional intelligent or smart completions must commingle concentric flow streams but our flow shroud multi-production/injection crossover (MPIX) technology provides pressure and fluid isolation for each flow stream.

Crossing over the flow streams within a production shroud allows downhole intervention like production logging and re-perforation, work-overs and ultimately plug and abandonment.

Optional flow control valves comprising, for example, intelligent inflow control valves (ICV's) or sliding sleeves can be used isolate either flow stream to facilitate downhole intervention.

Our technology is compatible with conventional inflow control device (ICD) screens and swell packers or  conventional packers.

Alternatively, gas lift valves can be used within a gas cap to provide natural gas lift or conventional multi-lateral technology can be included for combining one or more well bores into a single flow stream while one or more other laterals access a different level of the same reservoir or different production or injection horizons.

Nipple profiles provide deep isolation and conventional directional drilling can be used to separate the production and/or injection horizons by metres or kilometres.

If you are interested in optimising your production and/or injection using multiple pressure and/or fluid segregated flow streams through a single well bore to provide two wells for the price of one, please contact us.

MPIX Example with Multi-Frack or Multi-Reservoirs flowed through a single well bore.

Oilfield Innovations' patented Multi-Production-Injection-Crossover (MPIX) combined with conventional multi-lateral and extended reach drilling (ERD) technologies can provide multi-stage fracks in opposite directions to double production from a single well bore or access two different reservoirs between one (1) and two (2) kilometres apart, as shown to the left.

Fracks can extend in opposite to double the shale accessed by a single well bore or both reservoirs can be connected into the same subsea tie-back or platform slot to provide 2-for-1 well costs by sharing the same production casing.

Regardless of whether your wells are onshore or offshore Oilfield Innovations' MPIX tool can give you two wells for the cost of one.

Oilfield Innovations' patented tool can control two (2) differently pressured production flow streams to, for example, produce a lower pressure reservoir above a higher pressure deeper reservoir.

Our Multi-Production-Injection-Crossover (MPIX) can also produce a gas cap and oil rim through the same production casing, as shown to the right.

Our MPIX tool can also produce from different compartments of the same reservoir that can depleted and different rates and, thus, require separate flow streams to prevent cross flow.

Oilfield Innovations' patented MPIX tool can also be used in huff-and-puff cyclical production and injection in different layered formations, dispose of produced water to provide water drive pressure support or for gas injection for gas cap drive support.

For stranded hydrocarbons without the ability to flare oil associated gases, our MPIX tool can also be used to re-inject gas into a gas cap or as a gas flood or gas sweep drive system.

Injecting chemicals, gases or fluids into the same well being produced can enhance recovery significantly at minimal cost.

Oilfield Innovations' Multi-Production-Injection-Crossover (MPIX) can be used to disposed of produced water and carry out water, steam or gas floods or sweeps for enhanced production and recovery.

Whether the wells are offshore where space is expensive or onshore where minimising ground water penetrations and gathering facility foot prints is equally important, Oilfield Innovations' patented MPIX tool can reduce cost and/or increase production.

Can you afford to ignore new technology that is a simple crossover with no moving parts that can turn every well you drill into two (2) wells?
